fun, exists purely for whimsy's sake, and is not expected to produce
scientific results. A truly scientific study of size and shape
preferences would need to use silhouette cut-outs which offer no variables
outside of either an increasingly larger version of the same shape, or several
silhouette cut-outs of the basic different female ectomorphic, endomorphic,
and mesomorphic frames.
Also, only a few of
the many possible combinations of choices are presented in the current poll.
It is set up to accommodate the broadest possible combination of choices
since obviously, with the way the voting is set up now, offering the full
number of permutations would be overwhelming if not entirely impossible.
And finally, the
voters are not necessarily a random sampling.
But the poll does
show one thing: people are generally appreciative of more than one body size
or shape. Hence, the number of votes for more than one group of ladies in
the poll.
